Liability

The course participants are not insured against accidents during any of our programmes/events/lessons. Guests are responsible for their own accident insurance.

According to legal regulations, the Vals-Jochtal Ski School is in general only liable for damage directly connected to the activities of the Ski School, and which has been caused by deliberate actions or gross negligence. The Ski School possesses liability insurance for this purpose.

Minimum number of participants for group lessons

The minimum number of participants for group lessons is 4 people. The Ski School reserves the right to reduce the course duration if there are less than 4 participants.

If the group consists of only 2 people, the Ski School reserves the right to assign them to another group or to reduce the number of lessons.

Course cancellation

Course cancellations due to weather conditions (force majeure) will not be refunded.
Course cancellations due to non-operation of the cable car facilities for whatever reason will not be refunded.
Unused course days expire.

Group lessons

All group lessons start on Mondays (except during Christmas holidays). You can also book 4 or less course days.

    10 a.m. – 3.15 p.m.
  • Yeti Club
    10 a.m. – 3.15 p.m.
  • Half-day children's course
    10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Adults
    1.15 p.m. – 3.15 p.m.
  • Snowboard Beginners
    10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (modifications at short notice possible)
  • Snowboard Advanced
    1.15 p.m. – 3.15 p.m. (modifications at short notice possible)

Meeting point for children's group lessons

Beginners meet at the Kinderland: Identification vest pink, orange, red, yellow, grey, violet (identification vests).

All advanced skiers meet at the "Schilling" cable car: Identification vest light blue, dark blue, green.

All children's identification vests feature a small card with the name of the ski instructor and the meeting point attached. The meeting point can change during the course of the course for example from Kinderland to "Schilling" or from "Schilling" to the valley station of the cable cars. The ski instructor will change the card accordingly.

Private lessons

Private lessons are offered from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., whereby the time from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. is mainly reserved for group lessons.

Children's ski race

The 5th and last course day is a normal course day on the one hand and a very special day for children, since the children's race takes place. The instructor will inform you about the exact time of the race.

The prize awarding ceremony for all groups takes place at 12.15 p.m. at the Kinderland.
